Algeria accedes to the Apostille Convention

6 November 2025

On 5 November 2025, the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria deposited its instrument of accession to the Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents.

The Convention will enter into force for Algeria on 9 July 2026.
